Animal Behavior Overnight for Girl Scout Juniors and Older

Saturday, March 25, 2017 - Sunday, March 26, 2017

Registration for this event has now closed. Please join us for an overnight adventure on April 22nd or May 6th!

Pack up your tents and explore the zoo on your 'It’s Your Planet – Love It!' journey on an exciting overnight adventure! Girl Scouts will spend the evening and morning hours (when the zoo is normally closed) investigating, observing, and discovering how animals use and conserve energy. We will also get a chance to see what it is like to be animal scientists, recording real data on animal behavior, and then learning how professionals use that data to give high quality care to their animals. Don’t miss this opportunity to have fun connecting to wildlife through an overnight exploration of energy, conservation, animals, and science! An animal encounter, zoo admission, and parking are included.

Scout overnights run 5:30pm to 10:00am.

Groups of 30 or more can schedule their own overnight by emailing

$70 per participant
