These one-hour walks on the wild side are fantastic for audiences of all ages. Choose from two daily tour topics (Saturday and Sunday) to enhance your Zoo visit. Your knowledgeable guide will entertain you with fun facts, animal stories, and an education program animal encounter that will make you feel like a Zoo insider.
10:00 to 11:00 am – Winter Wonderland Now that
it’s winter, have you found yourself searching for your warmest jacket and
mittens? Ever wonder how animals adapt to cold temperatures? Join us for a
jolly journey to learn how the animal kingdom gets cozy and what we can do to
make sure chilly habitats stay that way. Tour includes a stop
at the Grizzly Bear Keeper Talk!
FULL Noon to 1:00 pm – Are We Related? Are hippos related to cows
or whales? How about lemurs- are they monkeys?
The animal kingdom is full of species that seem similar but may be in
totally different families. During this tour you’ll learn about some interesting
animal misconceptions and finally find out who’s related to whom! Tour includes a stop
at the Prairie Dog Keeper Talk!

SFZS Members: $7
Non-members: $10
Kids 5 and under: free
