Out of caution for our guests, animals, and staff, we will not be hosting our annual Boo at the Zoo event this year. As a family-friendly, outdoor, safe setting, we still want to get spooky with you. You're invited to come dressed in Halloween costumes (and masks!) to celebrate Sloth-oween! Enjoy a self-guided walk around the zoo to find our five sloth-themed haunted houses, including “Franken-sloth’s Fort,” where you will learn some creepy facts about sloths. Make sure to tag us in your photos, so we can repost on our social media channels!
We are excited to partner with our friends at The Sloth Conservation Foundation in Costa Rica and the Panamerican Conservation Association in Gamboa, Panama, to bring awareness to International Sloth Day on October 20 and to celebrate Sloth-oween.
