Summer Programming Kickoff

08-Jun-2019

Two very popular summer attractions, Wildlife Theatre and Nature Trail, reopen!

Wildlife Theatre incorporates a variety of ambassador animals from the Koret Animal Resource Center to engage and educate guests about animal adaptations and conservation. Visitors also have the opportunity to go on a leisurely stroll along Nature Trail to interact with and see more than a dozen animals up close! Youth volunteers staff each animal station to deliver fun facts and conservation stories.

• Nature Trail is open 11:00 am - 3:30 pm daily, June 8 – August 16, then weekends only through Labor Day.
• The Wildlife Theatre presentation is at 1:30 pm, Thursday through Sunday, June 20 - August 16, then Saturday and Sunday only through Labor Day.
• Don't miss Life on the Farm, Thursday through Monday at 3:15 pm on the Insect Zoo lawn.

Wildlife Theatre and Nature Trail are included in SF Zoo Membership and admission!

During the summer, you will see our Talk on the Wild Side (TOWS) teen volunteers carrying bio-fact items all around the Zoo to teach visitors about our incredible animals.
