Every summer, from Memorial Day through Labor Day, you can see amazing wildlife shows at Wildlife Theatre, located across from the Dentzel Carousel and adjacent to Flamingo Lake, as we present ZooMobile programs in the Main Zoo. These programs emphasize wildlife conservation and the animal’s natural histories, combining entertainment and public education. You’ll see a number of animal behaviors including free-flying birds of prey. You can even go on stage to assist our animal care staff! The shows last anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes and you can ask questions after the show.
Shows run June - September
2:00 p.m. Thursday through Sunday
Our engaging animal ambassadors, who may include a golden eagle, boa, porcupine, kinkajou, eagle owl and alligator, will teach you about what the Zoo is doing to conserve wildlife and wild places, and how you can help threatened and endangered species.
Shows and animals may vary, so call ahead for the latest information.
