Every summer, from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, you can see amazing wildlife shows at Wildlife Theatre, which is located across from the Dentzel Carousel and adjacent to Flamingo Lake. These programs emphasize wildlife conservation and the animal’s natural histories, combining entertainment and public education. You’ll see a number of animal behaviors including free-flying birds of prey. The shows last approximately 25 minutes, and each show is followed by a question-and-answer session.
Shows run June - September
Our engaging animal ambassadors, which may include a golden eagle, boa, porcupine, kinkajou, eagle owl, and alligator, will teach you about what the Zoo is doing to conserve wildlife and wild places, and even how you can help threatened and endangered species.
Shows and animals may vary, so call ahead for the latest information.
