Lion House

Since this city landmark opened in 1940, millions of people watched the daily Big Cat feedings. Located in the center of the Zoo, across from Penguin Island, the Lion House was a public favorite, where visitors got get up-close to amazing big cats and heard their roars as they enjoyed their afternoon meal.

The cats have access to their outdoor yards throughout the day.
