Disability Access

Our Main Entrance is accessible to all, and the parking lot has many accessible parking spaces. Parking is free for disabled patrons supplying proof of a disabled placard.

We have designated routes and exhibit areas to ensure that the public is aware of which are accessible. Use the gate map as you enter the Zoo to learn about route accessibility.

Other accessibility features

• A special passenger car on the Little Puffer miniature steam train is designed to hold a wheelchair.
  
• A special sand box is built high enough for wheelchair approach in the Meerkat and Prairie Dog exhibit.
