Overnights

Overnights at the zoo

The San Francisco Zoo provides an exciting opportunity for groups to camp in the heart of the city. Our Wild Nights Program takes you on a night safari through the Zoo that includes animal keeper talks. Depending on the season you will either sleep under the stars, accompanied by wandering peacocks and hooting lemurs, and wake up to the roar of a lion or in the comfort of the Lurie Education Great Hall complete with cozy fireplace!

Our Wild Nights overnight program is easy and safe. Evening snacks, activities, and a continental breakfast are included. Our professional staff offers a fun adventure while leaving our guests with a memorable experience of a special night at the San Francisco Zoo.

Group Overnights

Our group overnight programs are scheduled on a first-come first-served basis throughout the year. It’s a fun, unique, and education experience for all groups; bring your class, group or troop to the Zoo!

For Brownies, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, we offer a badge camp option that meets all requirements of selected badges. Some badge camps are prescheduled; please check our Calendar of Events for the latest schedule and online registration.
