Winter hours: (November 7, 2011 to March 12, 2012)
Open daily 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission gate closes at 3:30 p.m.

Summer hours: (March 13 to November 6, 2012)
Open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission into Zoo ends at 4:00 p.m. Members may enter until 4:30 p.m.

Members

San Francisco Zoological Society Members receive FREE admission with annual Membership.

Free Days for San Francisco Residents

The first Wednesday of every month, admission to the Zoo is free for San Francisco residents only. Please show proof of residency through a valid driver license, identification card or utility, phone or other local bill, delivered to your home address.

Military

San Francisco Resident Rates (free admission on SF Resident Free Days only applies to San Francisco residents with proof of residency).

Transport Rentals

Wagons, Jeep strollers and wheelchairs are available for daily rental at the Entry Village on a first come, first served basis.

San Francisco School Groups

SF Unified school district, public, private, colleges, universities and DCYF (C.A.P.) funded organizations. (List provided by the Education Department) 

Admission: Free for children and chaperones within the 1:5 ratio. $12 for chaperones above the 1:5 ratio.

(Non-San Francisco school groups must be in a Unified School District only.)
