The Big Green Bus Comes to the Zoo!

The Big Green Bus is coming to the Zoo! It is traveling 13,000 miles around the country through more than 35 states to teach about climate change and its relationship to energy issues, as well as alternative energy. The bus, a Dartmouth student program, is powered by a turbo diesel engine that's been converted to run on waste vegetable oil, and uses solar panels and sustainably harvested materials. Come aboard to learn about lifestyle choices that conserve energy and take us farther down the path towards sustainability!
