Free Zoo Admission
 The San Francisco Zoo is honored to celebrate the Koret Foundation’s 30th Anniversary and participate in Koret Museum Days by offering free admission on Sunday, May 10, 2009. As one of seventeen grant award recipients, the Zoo stands alongside Koret’s entrepreneurial spirit, which addresses societal challenges and strengthens Bay Area life.
The 2009 Mother’s Day event offers free admission to all Zoo visitors and gives Bay Area families an opportunity to visit and explore one of the city’s historic gems. The Koret Foundation is already an integral member of the Zoo family. Its continued support for the Zoo’s education programs, including the popular Koret Animal Resource Center, not only educates the public with its rescue-focused raptors, owls and other wildlife – it also inspires future ecologists, conservationists, biologists, zoologists and animal keepers.
