Kids 11 and under are eligible, limitations apply
San Francisco Zoo & Gardens is kicking off the summer by offering free admission to children, ages 11 and under, on weekdays, throughout the month of June. The offer starts on June 1 and runs through June 30, 2026.
“With kids out of school, we wanted to continue opportunities for them to learn and explore, and make the Zoo accessible for young kids,” said Cassandra Costello, CEO & Executive Director. “This promotion is our way of giving thanks to the public for their support over the past year.”
The maximum number of kids is five per paying adult. If tickets are purchased through the Zoo’s website, please note there is a $1 processing fee per ticket (including the free kid’s ticket). There is no fee if the tickets are purchased in person at the Zoo’s on-site ticket window.
In addition, the Zoo offers EBT/SNAP and Museums for All discounts to provide accessibility to the Zoo for anyone with an EBT/SNAP card. Named cardholders with a matching photo ID can receive up to four admission tickets at $5 each, and available for purchase at the Zoo’s ticket windows.
SF Zoo partners with the Discover & Go program, where visitors to San Francisco Public Library and other local libraries can receive a free pass to the Zoo. To access, users must log in with their library card credentials on the Discover & Go website to print or download their pass.
SF Zoo operating hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit sfzoo.org.
