Boo at the Zoo

Boo at the Zoo returns on Saturday and Sunday, October 29 & 30 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. As part of our weekend ZootoberFest, featuring live music, Zoo brews and German-inspired fare, dress up and join us to celebrate Halloween!
- Costume parade and contest* takes place at 12 noon beginning at the flamingo habitat and ending at the Playground
- Enjoy the giant hay maze
- See animals receive Halloween pumpkin treats throughout the day
- Candy treat bags for kids upon exit (available 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
- Live music at the Playfield Lawn
- Zoo Brew Haus at the Playfield Lawn
- German-inspired food offered at the Playfield Cafe; picnic on the grass
* Costume contest categories are Best Costume, Best Family Costume, and Best Animal Costume with prizes for the Top 3 in each category.
