A Zoo membership pays for itself in just three visits, and provides value in other ways. More than a ticket, membership is an invitation to visit as often as you like, go deeper into the Zoo experience, and know that your support is directly helping the animals in our care.

Explore our membership levels
From first-time members to dedicated Zoo Guardians, there’s a level for every kind of supporter. Each level comes with $5 Discount on Unlimited Additional Admission Tickets and Daily Unlimited Discounts on Rides (available on site only). *All membership sales are final and non-refundable.
Senior — $99
Admission for two. Purchaser must be age 65 or older (second guest can be under 65 years of age, including for use of the “Guest of” pass).
Individual Plus — $149
Admission for one named adult and any one guest. The cardholder must be present to enter.
Family — $199
Admission for two adults and up to three children under age 18.
Family Plus — $239
Admission for three adults and up to four children under age 18.
Supporting— $300
Admission for three adults and up to five children under age 18.
Madagascar — $500
Admission for three adults and up to six children under age 18.
Become a Zoo Guardian
Zoo Guardians contribute at least $1,000 annually. Levels begin with Keeper at $1,000, Curator at $2,500, Director at $5,000, and Chairman at $10,000.
Special levels of membership
San Francisco Zoo is happy to offer $10 off Individual Plus, Family and Family Plus Memberships levels to the following groups:
- Seniors*,
- Teachers*,
- Students*,
- Military (active or retired)*,
- Persons with disabilities.
