Connect with wildlife and nature in new and exciting ways! SF Zoo offers a variety of educational programs for different age groups and levels. With programs like Little Learners and Zoo Camp, there’s so much for your little one to learn!

Winter Break

Arctic Wild: From Snow Leopards to Penguins – A cold-weather themed camp where kids explore the lives of all your zoo’s colder-climate animals—penguins, snow leopards, wolves, and grizzly bears. It’s a “winter wonderland” theme with animals that thrive in snow and cold.
Days: Monday-Wednesday
Groups:
- Pre-K (9:00 a.m. – Noon)
- Kindergarten (9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
- 1st and 2nd Grade (9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
- 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade (9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
Cost: $450.00 non-members, $400 members

Spring Little Learners ABC’s Program
Join us in the New Year for our Little Learner program on Thursday and Saturday mornings starting January 24th, 2026.
The San Francisco Zoo’s Education team will host the A, B, C’s of our Zoo Animals with a focus on fun facts and connections to science following the education frameworks and recommendations for early learners from 3 to 5 years old.

Bilingual Camp
Join us for our Spring Adventures Bilingual Camps
This is a special time of year for animals, insects, birds and mammals. Campers will learn about the seasonal changes and animal adaptations in Spring. They will learn with science experiments and nature art, go behind the scenes for special animal encounters, and learn more about conservation in this fun Spring Camp.
Currently offering Spanish, Cantonese, and English Groups for Spring 2026

- Capacity: Limit 15 campers per group
- Cost: $550 (Session 1) and $440 (Session 2)

Conservation Camp for Summer 2026
Join us for our Conservation Camp with week-long Camps (Monday-Friday) with a focus on conservation, animal activism and hands-on art and science. Camp families can sign up for 1 or 2 weeks of animal/habitat exploration and wildlife fun with the team at SF Zoo and Gardens!
