World Lemur Day

Celebrate the 7 species of lemur we have here at the Zoo, from the Critically Endangered Coquerel’s Sifaka to the vulnerable Red-bellied Lemur. With over 100 species of lemur, all endemic to Madagascar, 98% of lemur species face some threat of extinction. Come to the Lemur Boardwalk to learn about ways that you can help this unique group of primates! There will be a Lemur Keeper talk at 2pm on the Boardwalk and we will be joined by CPALI who will have their own tent. Visit their tent to learn about their organization and how they forward conservation in Madagascar.
