Roar & Pour!
Celebrate summer with Roar & Pour, an outdoor wine tasting event with a wild twist, taking place at the Zoo on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Roar and Pour guests can enjoy sipping, strolling and socializing throughout the Zoo’s lush grounds while experiencing the sights and sounds of amazing animals, from African lions to grizzly bears, to Magellanic penguins and more!
Taste a variety of wines from top Northern California wineries during this unique fundraising event which supports the Zoo’s wildlife conservation programs.
This event may sell out. Ages 21+ only – no children or strollers will be admitted. ID required. No refunds – the event is rain or shine.

Parking
Our parking lot has two entrances, one off of the Great Highway for people driving from the East Bay and South Bay, and one off of Sloat Boulevard at 47th Avenue for those driving from the North Bay. There is only one exit from the parking lot – putting everyone northbound on the Great Highway.
