Tigers are one of the most iconic animals on our planet and their populations have sadly decreased over the past century due to variety of factors including habitat loss, poaching and prey depletion. Here at San Francisco Zoo, we have a unique setting to provide our guests with the opportunity to see our Sumatran tiger, Leanne, in real life. We hope that the connections made with her here engage people and inspire conservation action. We must continue to be a voice for tigers to ensure a future for them!
