Classes for Young Children

Little Learners

1 1/2 - 3 1/2  years old

Little Learners is designed for young learners and their caregivers. Each 1.5 hour class focuses on a different animal and includes a craft, small snack, animal visitors (from our educational collection) and a room full of exciting discoveries. We cannot offer behind-the-scenes with our wild animals, but we will visit their exhibits as a part of class.  Although mostly structured, all activities are optional, which makes for a pressure-free introduction to the classroom. Weekly topics cover six different fascinating animals. This year round program offers different animal lessons every session. You may sign up for one or more classes; save if you register for the full 6 week session. No more than one adult per child.
